In support of World Investor Week (WIW) 2025, the Money Matters BVI (MMBVI) financial literacy programme of the BVI Financial Services Commission will host a series of workshops over the course of three (3) days on the main island of Tortola and the sister island of Virgin Gorda.
Purpose:
The workshops are aimed at strengthening the financial knowledge of students and adults by providing valuable insights into:
- Digital finance and its innovation with technology
- Investing basics and market trends
- Growth opportunities and risk awareness
- Scam prevention
These workshops are tailored to provide the next generation of investors—as well as new and existing investors—with the opportunity to adapt to the rapidly evolving financial landscape with clarity, confidence, and caution. To make the sessions engaging and practical, elements of gamification will be incorporated, ensuring participants not only learn but also apply concepts in an interactive way.
