The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC), in celebration of World Investor Week (WIW) 2023, engaged in a social media campaign to promote cyber security awareness among investors titled ‘Protect Your Money. Be Cyber Smart.’

The TTSEC developed six short videos promoting cyber tips to help protect investor information from cyber criminals. These videos focussed on the following areas:

1. Cyber security awareness
2. Public/Open wi-fi protection
3. Choosing smart passwords
4. Phishing emails
5. Social media protection
6. Importance of protecting your electronic devices

This WIW Social Media Campaign leveraged the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to generate short impactful videos.

The TTSEC’s individual activities formed part of the wider collaborative effort through the International Forum for Investor Education - Caribbean Working Group, in recognition of WIW 2023.
