ECSRC-Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission and its members are participating with the IFIE Caribbean Working Group in the two region-wide projects, encouraging investors to learn more about crypto assets and strengthening financial preparedness and resiliency. In the ECCU region, Financial Information Month is celebrated at the same time as WIW and ECSRC joins forces with ECCB to support various events throughout October geared towards all age groups. Our 2019 theme is Financial Empowerment Through Education "Plan for Uncertainty...Make Insurance Your Priority." Each territory has a calendar of events used to spread financial literacy awareness. Among the highlights:

• Library Hours - engaging children at Public Libraries in educational games, songs, storytelling, and other financial education activities.
• Financial Fair - for families filled with activities for all ages to engage in discussions with individuals about their financial needs and concerns.
• Business Symposium - geared towards financial education needs in work places where business professionals make presentations on the themes followed by a panel discussion.This event is a signature event throughout the islands and a big hit.
• ECSRC members also participate in media outreach and financial capability awareness activities through radio programmes and information in online and local print media.
