Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) and the global community of professional financial planning bodies administering CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification are pleased to host the fifth annual World Financial Planning Day (#WFPD2021) on Wednesday, 6 October, during IOSCO’s World Investor Week (#IOSCOWIW2021).
FPSB launched World Financial Planning Day in 2017 as part of the global financial planning community’s commitment to increasing consumers’ financial literacy and capability, and to promote how financial planning can help the public take control of their financial future, increase their confidence and stay on track with their long-term goals.
FPSB and its global network representing more than 190,000 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals look forward to partnering with IOSCO and securities regulators globally in empowering more consumers to take control of their finances and their futures. On and around World Financial Planning Day on 6 October, under the theme “Live Your Today. Plan Your Tomorrow,” FPSB and its network organizations will provide programs to promote consumer awareness and understanding of financial planning on topics such as investment planning, debt management, retirement preparation, budgeting and saving, financial emergency preparation and home ownership. FPSB will also host a live global panel event for financial planning professionals.
